The formats

SteamID64: 76561197960278073 The one in profile links. Most websites and modern games use it.
SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6172 The legacy format. Source games (Garry's Mod, CS) and many plugins use it.
SteamID3: [U:1:12345] What Steam itself and newer Source games print.
Account ID: 12345 The account's number on its own. Some games show it as a "friend code".
FiveM / hex: steam:110000100003039 The SteamID64 in hex, as FiveM servers identify players.

Questions

Which ID does my server want?

Rust, and most websites and Discord bots, want the SteamID64. Garry's Mod admin mods usually want the SteamID (STEAM_0:…). If a field says "SteamID" and the value starts with 7656119, it's a SteamID64.

Why does it say the profile is private?

The owner has set their Steam profile to private or friends-only. Every ID format and the ban status still work; account age, level and location are hidden.

Can I convert a whole list?

Yes: the bulk converter takes up to 500 lines, including a game server's status output pasted as-is, and exports CSV.
